Visiting the sick is one of the highly extolled sunnah of the holy prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God and Peace Be Upon Him). As part of our commitment to serve Calgary and its environs, the NCMCC set up the Hospital Visitation Program where our members participate in the visitation program established by the Alberta Health Services. These members visit the hospital routinely to be with patients in their time of need, serve as company to provide emotional support and help lift their spirit. It is important to emphasize that the visit is to all members of the society, muslims and otherwise.
